Fly Blade India
Mumbai, Pune, Shirdi
Shubham (+2), 2019
Fly blade lounges are the first of the kind 'heliport' lounges in India. The lounges were built with prefab panels owing to the emergent nature of the project. The structure and the interiors are designed in tandem with Fly blade's international brand language. While the lounge in Pune and Shirdi were identical greenfield projects, the lounge in Mumbai was built in the space under the stands of the prestigious Mahalaxmi racecourse given the dearth of helipads in Mumbai. The style chosen for the interiors was Retro futurism with some indian design motifs thrown in.
Shubham has worked on the project in the capacity of an assistant architect in a team of 3 that oversaw both design and turnkey execution for 3 lounges.
